Teague - Carmen C.

Carmen Teague, 84, died June 6, 2017 at her home. Born Aug. 14, 1932 in Eccleston, Rio Claro Trinidad, she came to the United States in 1974, living in Brooklyn, NY until 1987, when she settled in Jersey City. She was educated in Bethlehem Roman Catholic School, Trinidad. She worked for J.T. Johnson Store in Port 'O Spain, Trinidad. She was a devoted Roman Catholic member of St. Matthew's Church in Brooklyn. She then was a Eucharistic Minister and Rosary Society member of St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City. Although she was no longer physically able to attend, her advice to all was to pray the rosary. Carmen had a magnetic personality and genuine love of people with a warm sense of humor and razor sharp wit.

Beloved wife of the late Wilfred I. Teague. Devoted mother of Kenwyn Teague & Marcia Teague Haye. Loving grandmother of Danielle & Jamal. Mother-in-law of Sandra Teague & Robert Haye. Sister of Roy Rojas. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Visitation is Fri. 4-8pm at Greenville Memorial Home 374 Danforth Ave. Jersey City. Funeral Sat. June 10, 2010 9am from the funeral home. Mass 10am at St. Paul the Apostle Church 14 Greenville Ave. Jersey City. Burial Rosehill Cemetery, Linden

Carmen was a faithful neighbour and friend to my sister Sylvia,she showered her with kindness, and was always there in time of her need.We loved her dearly, she was part of our family. She will be truly missed.
