Where do I begin? Pat and I became best friends fifty years ago. We were in the same homeroom for four years at St. Dominic?s Academy. Our friendship truly began the day my dad?s brother was found dead. I was crying in the chapel and she sat next to me and just held my hand. She always had a kind heart. She was an only child. I was a family of six girls. She was so Irish. I was so Italian. We both married our high school sweethearts in 1974. Funny from Pat O? Dea. She married James Piserchia and I, Justine Maggiano married John O?Grady. We have shared many so many personal milestones. Our lives were busy but we always managed somehow, someway to keep in touch. It was as if time never passed. It could have been months and yet we managed to always stay close in heart. She was one of the kindest, most loving, smart, intuitive friends I have ever had. She will always hold a special place in my heart. She was my beautiful friend. Jimmy, Sarah, Danielle, and James and your spouses and children, you are always welcome in my home. Love, Justine O?Grady
