Ador Lubaton Equipado, Former Deputy Mayor of Jersey City, the son of the Adoracion Lubaton and Retired Capt. Simon E. Equipado, Sr. He came to the United States with the family in 1975 and Settled in Jersey City, New Jersey. Is originally from Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, now a US Citizen. He is married to Lilian and has one daughter, Glenda May, who is a Registered Nurse at Nashville Veteran Affair Medical Center, Tennessee.

His professional career included a degree in Chemical Engineering and Management. Formerly the Deputy Mayor of Jersey City and Deputy of Public Works Director. In the past, he has served as Director of Jersey City Department of Water and Executive Mayoral Aide to former Mayor Bret Schundler. The first Filipino Republican ever to run for State Assembly in the 31st District of N.J. Co-Chairman Jersey City, NJ Republican Party Committee; Freeholder candidate in the 2nd District of Hudson County. Also served as a Senior Technical Advisor and the first ever to be reappointed as Deputy Mayor in Jersey City under a different administration.

Ador has been active in many civic clubs and organizations in diferent capacity. Former President of the GSFAA and had been one of its advisers.

 Served as a special Adviser to Pres. F.V. Ramos Visit Committee under the auspices of the Philippine Consulate General N.Y. under Ambassador Willy Gaa. Trustee of the Liberty Board; Trustee of the Board of Education; Vice President/Sec. J.C. International Peace Foundation, Inc., Co-Chair/Steering Committee of Hudson Health Partnership. Had been a member of former Mayor Schundler's Landlord Committee. Co-Chair/Founder of PAFCOM, Inc., VP/Co-Founder of Fil-Am Chamber of Commerce of N.J.; Chartered State Chairman of NaFFAA New Jersey Chapter; Philippine Centennial Celebration of FOPSNJ Parade Grand Marshall. VP/Co-Founder of Jersey City Lions Club. His name is listed in Who's Who in America 27th Edition and Centennial Issue of August 1998.

Has received numerous recognitions; honors and awards from various community organizations such as J.C. Board of Education (for services to the Students and Citizens), Board of Chosen Freeholders-County of Huson, Jaycees International for Leadership, Lions Club International, Christopher Columbus Foundation Award, Recipient of Pioneer Award from the Jersey City Council, NaFFAA outstanding government servive award; First Asian Deputy Mayor Award by Indo-American Association of N.J., Aquila Legis Award, Knights of Rizal Supreme Council Medal of Recognition Award; the Exceptional Leader-Award Creative Development Insitute of the Philippines, just to name a few.

Notable legacy to GSFAA, INC. A) Spearheaded fundraiser to benefit Statue of Liberty restoration. B) Initiated Christmas Nativity Reenactment C) Valentines Fundraisers.

Visiting Wed. & Thur. 4-9pm at Greenville Memorial Home 374 Danforth Ave. Jersey City.  Everyone will meet at Our Lady of Mercy Church 40 Sullivan Dr. Jersey City on Fri. Dec. 29, 2017 for Mass at 10am.  Final Viewing in the dePaul Chapel at Church begins Fri. 9:15am.  Entombment Holy Name Cemetery Mausoleum, Jersey City.
